Event 29th October 2017

Previous: 1st October 2017
Next: 26th November 2017

We leave Tol Durran aboard the "Grief of Lust", sailing with Captain Dagobi in search of the Scrivenors Tower with the intent of passing on the Tome of Abraxus. The climate is hot and clammy.

We travel via San-Cho-Dumi, where we pass the book to the local monks for "safe keeping". There are many lesser churches here and a church of Gozreh with symbols of Abadar.

Captain Dagobi goes missing. After a small amount of investigation, we discover that the captain owed the bar keeper of the "Catfish and the Donkey" a lot of money and we suspect that he may have been held there. We are able to sneak behind the bar whilst Garrett distracts the clientele and we rescue the captain, who was held here. I hope that he learns his lesson and will repay debts as soon as he can

Amiracle starts acting strangely and does not appear himself, nor does he recall recent events! Strange.

We go to a house near the waterline of the Stadium island and capture another magical item after fighting some very naughty halflings. I manage to find a magical eye that when I place into my empty eye socket, improves my vision (especially in the dark). The eye seems to unsettle those around me, so i choose to keep covered with my eye patch.

We capture a casket and other stolen goods from the halflings, but pass the stolen goods to a local man to guard. A mysterious stranger appears who tells us that the Casket contains many evils items, and he takes them from us for safe keeping. I hope we have done the right thing here.

Rind goes off trading, whilst I fill my time by offering to act as a guard to local merchants. It feels good to be able to be around tradesmen and see honest trade again. I find clerics tied up and being cooked by big ape. We are attacked by a female troll, but rescue the clerics.

As a "reward" we are initiated into "the Cleave". Can't help but think that this may be a problem, due to my eye, which appears to be attracting quite a bit of attention.
